If you thought you had to slug your way through crowded roads to see live music in Memphis because you thought there wasn't any other place to see such entertainment, you'd be wrong. Every Friday night at 7:00pm, from May through October, Bolivar puts on its festive face and hosts Music on the Square right behind our gorgeous old courthouse.
You might hear "Elvis" or maybe one of our great bluegrass bands. Maybe you'll come by in time to catch some soul-stirring gospel choirs from the area. But whatever your pleasure or whenever you stop by, you'll be treated to a musical extravaganza. And the only admission charge is that you bring a smile.
But wait! The best may be yet to come because every 2nd Saturday of the month, we have Gospel Music performers. But whatever it is, you can bet Music on the Square will be a hit every week.
