Jay Crum is an illustrator/artist originally from New Orleans, he received a BFA in printmaking from Memphis College of Art in 2005 and has since been navigating the line where art and design meet. In 2007 he co-founded TaroPop, a small design team producing T-shirt designs and limited edition art-prints. Crum's aesthetic as an illustrator is on full display in Second Nature. An intricate fantasy world of utopian architecture and caricatured city planning, its roads double back on themselves and defy gravity as they snake their way around buildings designed for fun over function.
