"There is a time of the year, just before spring, when the new shoots of the trees and bushes burst out with bright greens, yellows and scarlet, that I witnessed during a walk in the woods, one early morning, right after a snowfall. The contrast with fading winter and spring arriving inspired me to paint Winter Thaw." An accomplished painter of landscapes, Boger is an active member of Artist's Link, a group dedicated to providing resources and opportunities to local artists to develop their skills and exhibit their work.
