Whiteville Lake

Whiteville Lake is on Oak Dain Creek in Hardeman County, Tennessee and is used for recreation purposes. It was built in 1943. It has a normal surface area of 147 acres. It is owned by Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA).

Whiteville Lake is of earthen construction. Its height is 21.5 feet with a length of 1,450 feet. Its capacity is 1,853 acre feet. Normal storage is 666 acre feet. It drains an area of 12.04 square miles. Favorite targets of local fishermen include bluegill, catfish, crappie, and largemouth bass.
